Executive Yosuke Machida Bio:
Born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, A16 Executive Chef Yosuke Machida fell in love with cooking during college while working in an award-winning Spanish restaurant. He moved to the U.S. in 2009, and worked as a line cook at Casanova and its sister restaurants in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. He then moved to San Francisco, where he learned from some of the country's most heralded chefs, working with Chef Jan Birbaum at Epic Roasthouse, Chef Roland Passot and Chef Hiro Sone at Ame. Eventually Chef Machida was promoted from Executive Sous Chef at Ame to Executive Chef. In 2015, Chef Machida became Executive Chef position at Chambers at the Phoenix Hotel.
